Lindberg's Guesthouse
The University owns a guesthouse, where there are rooms to be rented for visiting researchers, teachers etc.
The Guesthouse is called Lindberg's House after Poul Johannes Lindberg, an old friend of the University, who donated the house to this purpose. It lies on Suðuroyarvegur 3, that is in the western part of Tórshavn, approx. 10-15 minutes walk from the University. The rooms are small, there is a bed, a small wardrobe, a desk and a chair. There is a shared kitchen, living room, toilet and bath. There is a telephone and internet connenction in the house and a washing machine is in the basement. There are four rooms, usually not all of them occupied at the same time, but that may happen some weeks.
