Prerequisites
Students must pass all other mandatory BA degree Programme assignments, before submitting their Bachelor Thesis for assessment.
Purpose
Final assignment (project) on the Bachelor Degree Programme.
Content
A topic chosen by the student within the framework of the areas in History. The topic must be approved by the supervisor/programme director.

Learning outcomes
With the Bachelor Thesis the students will:  On the basis of a historical subject be able to make a clear problem statement.  Be able to argue their choices of methods and concepts in relation to historical analyses and make a clear plan for the structure of the thesis.  Be able to document the collection of critical work with the literature relevant to the problem statement.  Be able to use historical methods, including historical critisims, in order to work with the empirical material and the historical context in a qualified and critical way. Be able to document ability to structure their own work and results in a coherent and systematic thesis.  Be able to put forward relevant and argued conclusions and perspectives.
Assessment method
Oral examination based on the Bachelor Thesis.
