Prerequisites
The first course has to be passed, in order to be examinated at the sequent course.
Purpose
The purpose of this course is that the students get knowledge about the active child in the transition from pre-school to primary-school and time-leisure-centers. They will acquire knowledge about what distinguishes the work in the transition and the reception of the children from pre-school to primary-school and time-leisure-centers, in a diversifying and creative pedagogical work.

Learning and teaching approaches
Lectures, participating and reflecting groupwork/assignments. Project work, workshops, presentations, guidance and evaluations, portfolio, practical training/practical visitations. Individual assignments, group assignments and writing logbook, which will be submitted at a deadline on an online portfolio. Students read appointed materials and texts as well as other materials and texts students find themselves.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, students should be able to: · Interpret and analyse the formal and informal practice in school preparation and primary school · Critically describe, what distinguishes school preparation and primary school in relation to the active child. · Interpret the pedagogical practise based on a professional, didactive and theoretical foundation. · Prepare, carry out and evaluate didactical and aesthetical learning processes based on professionalism, imagination, creativity, and innovation. · Intertwine and analyse theory with practice.
