Purpose
To give the student knowledge to matemathical analysis and an introduction to linear algebra, with emphasis on the use in Chemistry and Biology.
Content
Subject: Differentiation, applications of differentiation. The indefinite and the definite integral. Logarithmic and exponential functions. Applications of integration. Differential equations with applications from Biology. Matrices. Curve fitting.
Learning and teaching approaches
45 hour lectures. 30 exercises.
Assessment method
Written examination, four hours with helping material. The 13-grade scale is used.
