Stoichiometry. Elementary thermodynamics. Electrochemistry. Equilibria. Bonding theories. Colligative properties. Kinetics. Crystal lattices. Electronic configurations of atoms. Chemical bonding. Descriptive inorganic chemistry. Laboratory exercises Titration of a strong acid with a strong base, using an indicator. Potentiometric titrations of weak acids and halides. Spectrophotometry. Iodometry. Kinetics - substitution of chlorine in crystal violet. Halide titration by Volhard and sodiumfluoreiscinate. Titration of with EDTA. Spectrophotometric determination of an indicator’s . Permanganotometry.
