Purpose
Two written examinations. No aids. Each of the examinations counts 50%. The 13-grade scale is used.
Content
Classification and evolution of organisms: Heterotrophy/autotrophy; algae and fungi; evolution of land plants; classification and evolution of multicellular plants.
The first exam 4 hours includes: bacteria, bluegreen algae, algae and fungi including lichens. The second exam 1 hour includes seedless vascular plants, gymnosperms, angiosperms.
Learning and teaching approaches
45 hours lectures and 15 hours laboratory exercises.
Assessment method
