To provide the student with an overview of aquaculture, from spawning to the final product as food objects.

Development from the spawned egg to the finished product of fish as food objects. This will include topics as: food and food composition, fish disease and recirculation of the water used in the production. Four-hour written examination without aids and submission of two written exercises for which marks are given. The average of these two exercises count for 50% of the total mark.
