Purpose
To provide the student with basic knowledge of cell structure, function, growth, interactions, differentiations and immunology.
Content
·Cell macromolecules and evolution
·Structure and function of subcellular structures
·Motility
·Cell communication and interaction, with special reference to the adrenergic and the histamine receptor system.
·The basics of immunology.
·Tissue biology is taught, with emphasis on muscle and nerve cell function.
Learning and teaching approaches
Lectures, and discussions based on additional articles.
Assessment method
4 hours written examination, no aids, however NVD computer is available for writing. The 13-grade scale is used.
