To give the students an overview of human structure and physiology at the cellular, histological and organ system level.

Overview of structure and functions of organs and organ systems. Identification of histologiske preparations and overview of the more important types of cells-and tisssues. Description of physiological regulatory mechanisms. Overview of basics of human embryology. Problem solving of physiological processes.

Lectures, demonstrations and laboratory exercises, including microscopy. Problem solving in physiologi.

4-hour written examination. No aids allowed, however NVD computer is available for writing. The 13-grade scale is used.
