To provide the student basic competences in working with problem-oriented and interdisciplinary projects, thus promoting personal social science learning.

The topic of the project is optiona, and the student, alone or in groups, develops his/her/their own problem formulation and produces an inter disciplinary project. The outcome of this course is that students should be able to formulate a social science problematic and problem formulation. In addition, the student should be able to outline the problematic and make clear conclusions by independent and critical use of social science concepts and methods. An essay which contains the mentioned dimensions is to be developed.

The course is based on 3 double hours wherein the fundamentals of project work is reviewed and where the project work itself is started up. Each group will then get guidance as needed.

Oral group examination on the basis of the project. Individual rating. The examination is internal and judged according to the at the current marking scale.
