Purpose
The objective is to enable the students independently to manage theoretical and methodical challenges when studying political representation and representativeness
Content
Theories on political representation and representativeness in the field of Politics and Administration. Challenges – of both theoretical and practical kinds – when analysing political representation and representativeness in Faroese municipalities.
Learning and teaching approaches
Guidance and seminar work on writing scholarly, among others by using SPSS for data analysis
Learning outcomes
Identify and describe the field of Political Representation and Representativeness, and its core concepts.
Conduct critical reflexive examination on a self-elected empirical question in this field.
Increase the ethical consciousness in scholarly work.
Convey academically and coherently on the field of Political Representation and Representativeness.
