Collaboration Councils
The Collaboration Councils at the University of the Faroe Islands are composed of external representatives from relevant public and private sectors associated with each programme. Appointed by the Rector for a three-year term, the councils act as a bridge between the university, the labour market, and society.
Their role is to leverage their expertise and insights to support the quality, relevance, and ongoing development of the degree programmes. The councils provide professional guidance, evaluate programmes in terms of research, societal relevance, and workforce needs, and identify trends and developments that are significant for both society and the job market.
