Programme documents
Our programme documents form the foundational framework for presenting and communicating our programmes. They provide clarity, ensure quality, and establish a shared direction, enabling each programme to be communicated consistently and transparently.
At the University of the Faroe Islands, each degree programme is defined by two key documents — the programme description, which outlines the overall structure and academic focus, and the course descriptions, which detail the individual courses that comprise the programme.
These documents are closely connected and used together to convey the full scope of the programme. In addition, course coordinators prepare a curriculum and any supporting study guides, although practices may vary between departments and instructors.
