Course Descriptions

Course descriptions provide information on each course offered at the university. Prepared in both Faroese and English, they outline the course level, content, purpose, learning outcomes, teaching methods, assessment methods, ECTS credits, and the responsible academic staff member.

Learning outcomes must be clearly defined, measurable, and realistic, and should indicate the criteria on which students are assessed.

Course offerings
Course offerings provide details on how and when a course is delivered in a given semester. While the course description remains the same, details may vary between offerings.

Each offering includes:

• start and end dates
• examination dates
• assigned instructors
• language of instruction
• language of course materials
