Principal Investigator on the Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau’s International Academy for the Marine Economy and Technology “Structural Health Monitoring of Infrastructure in Logistics Cycle”.  RMB1.5 million (£150,000).  Sept 2015 to Sept 2018.

 

Co-investigator on the 2015 Ningbo Innovation Team Programme, funded by Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau.  RMB2.4 million (£240,000). Sept 2015 to Sept 2018.

 

Awarded an European Space Agency Certificate, following entry to the ESA Competition “Listen to the Song of Galileo Signals”.  This was awarded to the first 50 users of the Galileo system.  Our position fix was established on the 2 February 2014.

 

Co-Investigator on the Chinese NSFC funded project “Development of Building Information Modelling Optimisation Method for Enhancing Construction Site Productivity”.  January 2015 to December 2016. RMB250,000 (£25,000).

 

Co-investigator on the Ningbo Level Key Discipline Project “Applied Computing Technologies”. 2013. 

 

I was awarded the Zhejiang Foreign Researchers’ 1000 Talents Research Award.  This is worth 2 million Yuan (£200,000), but will be very important in recognition, and applications of future awards.  This is based upon my personal achievements. November 2012.

 

I was the Director of the International Doctoral Innovation Centre, funded by the Ningbo Bureaus of Education and Science and Technology, as well as the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, EPSRC.  Total value approximately 0.17 Billion Yuan. September 2011 to August 2013.

 

Research Award from the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) to support a one year project where they are contributing 2x GNSS receivers to monitor the QZSS satellites. 

 

Development of the Science and Engineering Laboratories.  The UNNC budget was calculated at 0.2Billion Yuan for both teaching and research development over a 3 year period, and the local government in Ningbo agreed to fund 1/3 of this following my application.  September 2011 to present.
