Mostly been working within lexicography and was one of the editors on Faroese dictionary 1998. Main editor on Faroese-Danish dictionary that was published in 2010. The years 2006-2009 researcher in a project on Faroese syntax at the University of Edinburgh. Experiments run and scientific papers published in this connection.
For the time being working on a PhD project that diacronically and syncronically describes syntactic and morphological changes in Faroese.
Textbook in linguistics
Together with others working on a textbook in linguistics for students and other interested. The book contains chapters on different linguistic topics (e.g. grammar, phonlolgy, pragmatics, semantics, purism, and sociolinguistics).
Evolution of Semantic Systems
Participating in a project, Evolution of Semantic Systems, that examines similarities and differences between many different languages.
Together with Jógvan í Lon Jacobsen responsible for the Faroese part of the ISLEX-project which is an Icelandic-Scandinavian online dictionary.
