Internal Quality Assurance in accordance with the Bologna Process
The Faroe Islands are working towards joining the Bologna Process, and in this context the University of the Faroe Islands has developed its internal quality assurance system to ensure alignment with the framework agreements underpinning the Bologna cooperation. This includes the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG, 2015) and the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL), as well as the implementation of the Diploma Supplement and the definition of programme scope based on, and referenced to, the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).
