Avbjóðingarnar í Arktis krevja, at vit finna nýggjar leiðir at skipa og samstarva um gransking og undirvísing. Hetta fara vit at arbeiða nærri við á hesi verkstovuni, og vit taka útgangsstøði í royndunum úr Føroyum.
Millum evnini, sum vit fara at arbeiða við, er arktisk gransking, útbúgving, nýskapandi logistikkur, førleikamenning og viðkomandi samfelagslig vitan. Endamálið er at menna tvørfakliga gransking og samstarv.
Heitið á verkstovuni kalla vit Arctic Science in Action.
