The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Health Care and Research
The conference is organised by the Nordic Committee on Bioethics (NcBio) in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and Odense University Hospital. The NcBio is under the auspices of NordForsk. The conference will take place November 2nd, 2021, in Odense, Denmark and online.
The interest in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare and health care research is in rapid growth and many people from health care, research and not least enterprises believe this will revolutionize our health care system and become a whole new market. Imnplementation of this technology comes with many challenges, though and it is necessary that implementation of it in health care is is done with great ethical and legal care.
In the NCBio conference we discuss these challenges with input not only from ethical experts, but also from health care researchers and patients.
